Morning: make the Tower your main booking
Start with Tower admission and its arrival instructions. Leave a substantial visit window rather than promising yourself a quick stop for the Crown Jewels. Boat transport and Tower entry are separate bookings.
Walk to Tower Pier after your visit
Use Tower Pier for the relevant Uber Boat service. Do not follow directions for Tower Bridge Quay simply because both names mention the Tower. Leave time for the walk, queues and checking the boat destination.
Returning west: check the London Eye service pattern
The operator says that on a westbound RB1 to Westminster, passengers for London Eye should stay aboard for the turn at Westminster. If the vessel terminates at Battersea or takes a scheduled break, leave at Westminster and cross Westminster Bridge. Ask crew before boarding and check the current timetable.
Afternoon: leave a buffer before the Eye
Choose an Eye admission slot only after allowing for your Tower visit, walk, waiting and sailing. A South Bank stroll or meal makes a useful flexible buffer. If running late, do not assume either supplier can move a timed booking.
Return to your starting point deliberately
